For a quick idea on how the Sellector guided selling widget plugs into any existing e-commerce shop I have scetched three charts that give a quick idea on how it works.

This is how the Sellector plugs into the shop front of your e-commerce shop:
The Sellector injects the panels for selection and for result presentation into the webpage that is displayed by your customers browser. From the customer point of view it all comes from your shop. But at the same time you don't have do worry about any installation, software updates, server performance or traffic cost. All Sellector outputs are handled by the Sellector server.

This is how the Sellector updates it's data using the scheduled update:
If you tell the Sellector Server to update the product data from your shop regularly at a certain time, the Sellector server will fetch the updated product data from your server at the defined time. All your shop system has to do is to generate a Sellector readable export shortly before the time is reached.

This is how the Sellector updates it's data using an update request initiated by your e-commerce shop system:
If you shop data is subject to rapid and a more irregular change, you can force the Sellector server to fetch an updated product data export any time you like by simply sending a request to the Sellector server.
